A RECORD-BREAKING number of over 2,300 runners gathered to take part in the Jones Crisps Anglesey Half Marathon & 10k events on Sunday.
The races, organised by Always Aim High, feature a stunning coastal course which kick off on the Menai Suspension Bridge.
Following weather warnings during the week, conditions improved drastically across the weekend as the race start approached and a record number of runners were present.
Rossendale Harriers' Callum Davidson won the men's half marathon event with a time of 01:10:50.
Lucy Williamson of Ilkley Harriers won the women's race with a time of 01:23.56.
The Anglesey 10k saw over 500 compete.
Taking home first place in the men’s race was Deestriders’ Mike Roberts in a time of 00:34:37. Catherine Connell took first place in the women’s race at 00:38:52.
The RibRide Dragon’s Dash , aimed at youngster between five and fifteen years old, completed the racing action on Sunday.
