A MAN who sexually abused two young girls when he was aged 14 was jailed for three years and two months on Monday.

Conner Taylor, now 22, pleaded guilty at Caernarfon crown court to three charges of rape and four of sexual assault against one girl and of inciting the girl and another to engage in sexual activity.

The abuse, described as horrendous, happened in a fortnight during the summer of 2010 in Anglesey.

Taylor, formerly of Cemaes Bay but now of Miles Platting, Manchester, was placed on the sex offenders list indefinitely and a sexual harm prevention order was made to avoid any contact with the pair.

Judge Huw Rees said the offences had left an indelible mark on the victims.

Taylor came from a disadvantaged background and the judge heard he had not offended since 2010 and according to a psychiatrist there was no evidence of any continued sexual interest in children.
