NORTH Wales Police are appealing for witnesses after a break in at a Caernarfon taxi depot.

Two men broke into Huws’ Taxi Depot on the Cibyn Industrial Estate stealing, cash, an information module and caused damage to vehicles.

Investigating Officer PC Mark Worsley at Caernarfon Police Station said: “Between 11.30pm Saturday, January 6, and 2am, Sunday, January 7, two men entered the vehicle compound at Huws’ Taxi Depot on Cibyn Industrial Estate, Caernarfon.

"Once inside the compound they entered two service buses and have stolen a module which stores information on passenger numbers along with a quantity of cash.

“The offenders exited the compound and caused damage to two further vehicles belonging to employees. A third vehicle belonging to Huws’ Taxis, which had been left parked up and unattended outside the compound, was located a short distance away, having been moved from its original parking spot.

"If anyone has any information or witnessed any suspicious behaviour or activity in the area please contact North Wales Police. It is worth reminding members of the public to be vigilant at all times and to contact the Police immediately if you see any suspicious behaviour.”
