KIDS got the chance to clown around during the half-term in Llanfairfechan.
Peanuts the Clown provided two free interactive clown and circus skills workshops and shows by the town’s boating lake and promenade area on Tuesday, May 29 and and Wednesday, May 30.
Activities included balloon fun, face painting, plate spinning, juggling, chasing and blowing bubbles and a circus skills workshop.
Children of all ages took part in the event which was hailed “a great success,” by the organisers.
According to the secretary of Discover Llanfairfechan Sam Davies: “Peanuts the Clown entertained over 300 people over the two sessions. The children enjoyed playing with the circus toys and learning some new skills.
“Many of them had their faces painted while their parents enjoyed a picnic by the lake.
The event was sponsored by Discover Llanfairfechan to celebrate Visit Wales ‘Year of the Sea,’ which promotes the Welsh coastline and invites visitors to discover new experiences on its shores.
