POLICE are renewing an appeal for witnesses following the theft of two Texel lambs from the Anglesey area.

The lambs were with their mothers when they were stolen from a large shed in Rhosgoch on Tuesday, February 20.

PCSO Rhys Evans of the North Wales Police Rural Crime Team said: "The lambs would now be approximately seven weeks old.

"We believe they may have been offered for sale locally as pet lambs and may still be in the area."

One of the lambs had been spray marked with 33 in red paint on its side, the other with 92 in blue paint on its side.

Anyone with information relating to the lambs is asked to call PCSO Rhys Evans at the Rural Crime Team on 101.
