DEBENHAMS' Bangor store managed to raise over £200 for the Look Good Feel Better charity last week.

On Thursday evening, customers were invited to the store to take part in the "Summer school of beauty" VIP event.

A fashion show was held to display the latest clothing on offer at the store, whilst tarot card readings were also available for £5, with the money collected being donated to the charity.

Mac certified makeup artist Corinne Gibbons was also on hand to give a masterclass on the latest summer styles.

Aber falls distillery also attended the event, giving out free samples of their gin, whilst Kyffin Deli Bar offered cocktail classes.

Bangor Community Group Choir provided the entertainment on the night, performing songs from High School Musical as customers arrived at the store.

All in attendance were asked to give donations towards the Look Good Feel Better charity.

All money raised by Debenhams during their event will be put towards the charity which helps women and teenagers manage the visible side effects of cancer treatment.
