AN INDEPENDENT television company in Gwynedd has issued redundancy notices to 10 of its employees after a cut in work from Welsh language broadcaster S4C.
Antena, based in Cibyn industrial estate, Caernarfon, blame a cut in their contract to produce programme, Y Lle, for the redundancies.
S4C recently announced it would reduce the amount of programmes from 52 to 30 next year.
Antena Director Iestyn Garlick said: “We have issued redundancy notices for ten people. There will be a process of consultation and we will issue a statement next week.”
