A 22-year-old woman and a six-month-old baby girl who died following a fatal collision on the A487 in Gellilydan on Thursday have been named.
Anna Williams, was 22-years-old and came from the Penrhyndeudraeth area. Six-month-old Millie Wyn Ginniver was from the Blaenau Ffestiniog area.
Both were travelling in the Ford Fiesta when it collided with a lorry shortly before 11:20am yesterday morning.
Specialist officers are currently working to support the families who have requested that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.
The driver of the Fiesta remains in hospital in Stoke where her condition is described as critical.
Police continue to appeal for witnesses and anybody with information is asked to contact officers at the Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting reference number W003114.
