MOTORISTS are being warned of road closures on Sunday as a major women's cycling event is in the area.
North Wales hosts stage five, the final stage, of the OVO Energy Women's Tour.
The event is Britain's leading international women's cycle race and part of the UCI Women's WorldTour.
The five day, 423-mile race, sees cyclists taking part in the Women’s World Tour of 23 races across 10 countries.
It is anticipated that many thousands of people will line the route today.
The race started at Dolgellau at 10.30am this morning and works its way through Snowdonia en route for the final in Colwyn Bay where the biggest crowds are expected with the Promenade area of Colwyn Bay closed from 11.30am.
