AN Irishman has appeared in court today (Monday) accused of causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a collision with a motorcyclist in Snowdonia.
Dean Howard, 26, of Georgetown, Dublin, a truck driver, denied the offence while driving a Ford Focus car on the A5 at Capel Curig on the afternoon of Saturday, April 21.
District judge Gwyn Jones at Llandudno remanded him in custody until he appears at Caernarfon crown court on Monday, May 21.
Police said the 47-year-old motorcyclist was in hospital at Stoke on Trent with life-threatening injuries.
