NORTH Wales Police are investigating after a man was assaulted in Bangor.

The incident took place outside the Harp Inn on the High Street at about 11.20pm on Friday, April 6.

A 19-year-old man from Anglesey was pushed to the ground and sustained non-serious injuries.

Investigating Officer PC Amy Williams at Bangor Police Station said: "An investigation is now underway into the circumstances and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident to contact Police as soon as possible."
