Police are linking the finding of two bodies on an Anglesey beach to the discovery of a human foot earlier in the week.
A report that the bodies of two men had been found on the beach at Malltraeth on Anglesey was made to North Wales Police on Friday morning
Detective Inspector Gerwyn Thomas at Caernarfon CID said: “Police are working with the Coastguards to recover the bodies of two men. Their deaths are currently being treated as unexplained as we try to establish the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
"Formal identification is yet to take place and HM Coroner for North West Wales has been informed.”
He added: “Sadly we believe this incident may be linked to the discovery of the human foot on Felinheli beach near Bangor earlier this week.”
