THE family of Derwyn Alun Jones who died following a road traffic collision on the A55, Anglesey on Monday evening have paid the following tribute to him:

“We are devastated by the loss of Derwyn - a much loved Father, Son and Brother.

“He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.”

“The family have asked for privacy at this difficult time.”

The police investigation to the collision, which happened shortly before 7pm, on Monday, January 29, on the A55 westbound between junctions 6 and 5, involved a Vauxhall Meriva car and a pedestrian.

Police say they are "grateful to the sufficient number of witnesses that have already come forward," however, officers are still appealing for anybody who was travelling along the A55 on Anglesey between 6pm and 7pm, that may have dash cam footage showing the man walking in the road to contact officers at the Roads Policing Unit on 101 quoting reference number W011378.
