A six-month-old baby girl has died after a crash between a car and a lorry that killed one woman and left another with "life-threatening" injuries
The baby was airlifted to Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool by the Air Ambulance but she died on Thursday evening.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the A487 shortly before 11:20am on Thursday where a lorry and a Ford Fiesta had collided.
The front seat passenger of the Fiesta was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was airlifted to hospital in Stoke where her condition is described as critical.
The next of kin are being supported by a specially-trained Family Liaison Officer.
Sergeant Emlyn Hughes from the Roads Policing Unit said: "Tragically this is now double fatal collision investigation and we would like to extend our sympathy to all the families involved.
"We continue to appeal for witnesses and anybody who can assist our investigation is asked to contact us."
Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at the Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting reference number W003114.
North Wales Police are not yet in a position to release further details.
