VOLUNTEERS with Bangor Werdd, Datblygu Bangor Development's (DBD) community environmental action group cleared rubbish in Wartski Field below the Lookout on Holyhead Road in Bangor and in Menai Woods.

The team of seven collected 25 bags of rubbish, as well as a collection of shopping trolleys, old chairs and car parts.

The group will be holding more regular picks around the city, and if anyone knows somewhere that needs clearing or would like to volunteer, call 01248 372206 or visit Bangor Werdd in the environment section of www.bangorcommunity.org.
