A SOUTH Yorkshire police officer has died after being airlifted from Snowdon.
Pc Anthony Mulhall, who had been cleared of any wrongdoing after being captured on CCTV hitting a woman as he attempted to arrest her, was airlifted from the mountain on Wednesday.

He died in hospital on Friday.

Pc Mulhall's death comes just months after Greater Manchester Police Chief Constable Michael Todd was found dead on Snowdon.
