TEN man Llangefni made it three wins in a row as they hammered four past struggling Rhayader, continuing their push towards the business end of the table.
Leigh Craven had the defending Cymru Alliance champions ahead in the 23rd minute, slotting home from 12 yards after meeting a pinpoint Steve Kehoe cross.
With Cefni pushing for a second Marc Evans went close with two one on one chances only to send both wide but Town’s first major setback came on the break as Craig Hutchinson saw red for a two-footed challenge.
The incident proved to be the visitors’ only setback as shortly after the restart they doubled their lead, Darren Thomas winning a freekick before putting it on the head of Mike Robinson who nodded home.
In the 86th minute the third arrived as Craven and Tom Dix combined with the latter crossing for Evans to score.
The drama continued apace from the restart, the hosts immediately going upfield and winning a spotkick after Grahame Austin handballed.
However Innes saved and instigated a counter break involving Mike Robinson and Craven with Thomas scoring.
Cefni’s next game is at Cae Bob Parry on Saturday against Rhydymwyn (2.30pm).
