Identity of body found in Bangor confirmed

THE body of a man found after he was reported missing from his home in Bangor has been identified.

North Wales Police are appealing for the family of Martin Francis Igoe,63, of Princes Road, to come forward.

Mr Igoe went missing from his home on Tuesday, March 2. His body was found in Port Penrhyn on, Thursday April 22.

DNA tests confirmed Mr Igoe’s identity.

A North Wales Police spokesperson said that the death was not being treated as suspicious.

An inquest will be held by the Coroner.

Mr Igoe is believed to have relatives in the Republic of Ireland.
