MORE than 20 firefighters are tackling a barn fire that burned throughout the night at a farm in Pant Y Dwr, near Rhayader.
Crews were called to the farm at 21:12 BST on Thursday, and worked throughout the night to try and put the fire out.
The efforts continued into Friday morning and are still ongoing.
The Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service have said that the pumps will be there all day.
A spokesperson said that good progress was being made and that the cause of the fire was not known, but no people or animals were injured.
Crews from Builth Wells, Llanidloes, Rhayader and Llandrindod Wells attended, and a special water appliance was sent in from Builth Wells.
