Caernarfon Festival in full swing

THE festivities are hotting up as the annual Caernarfon Festival gets into full swing.

Festival chairman Glyn Dickinson said that events on the Maes had not been affected by the bad weather.

“It’s going really well,” he said. “There are lots of people enjoying what’s going on.”

It was Chinese Day at the festival on Tuesday with traditonal lion and ribbon dancing on the Maes and kite flying at Coed Helen.

Sarah Louise and Ryan Kift are today’s live entertainment on the Maes, with more acts scheduled until the festival ends on Saturday.

There will be live music at the Anglesey Arms and Tren Bach Ellen Morgan land train will run from 10am-5pm for the rest of the week.
