A NORTH Wales village will be buzzing with activity this month when Llanddulas hosts Partie In The Park 2010.

Running between June 18-19, Ysgol Llanddulas school field will be filled with bands, fairground rides, face-painters, craft stalls, donkey rides and much more to entertain families from across the area.

The first Partie in the Park was held in Ysgol Llanddulas school field in June 2009 and was heralded to be such a success that the festival is now set to become an integral part of the Llanddulas calendar each year.

Promising something for all ages and tastes, the event also gives local talent the opportunity to perform to a large audience.

On Friday night from 7pm, blues and rock band Steamy Windows will be sharing the line-up with pop-rockers Roofus and the celebrated Doctor and the Medics, who enjoyed massive success with Spirit In The Sky during the 1980s.

On Saturday the music continues, kicking off with alternative rock band Wonder Tops before blues band Comfy Chairs take to the stage. Acclaimed Welsh tribute act Pinc Ffloyd will also be performing live with rockers Ether closing the night of entertainment.

A hog roast and beer tent will keep older festival fans going throughout the bustling day and night, while visitors can also enjoy welly throwing, a tug-of-war competition, and more.

As well as having a good time, each and every person who attends is contributing to the thousands of pounds raised for Ysgol Llanddulas and the local community.
So for a weekend of festival fun, be sure not to miss Partie In The Park 2010.
