MUSIC festivals can sometimes conjure images of hundreds of thousands of energetic revellers rammed into a muddy space with deafening music and unsanitary conditions.
Here to change all of that is the debut Ymuno Festival which aims to bring music lovers together in a cosy and chilled out environment.
Held in The Sleepy Meadow in Tal Y Cafn, the intimate affair will be presenting an eclectic mixture of celebrated acts from across the country for three days of friendly funky fun.
Open to over 18s and children under 12; the event aims to be a relaxed and enjoyable festival inviting audiences to enjoy the beauty North Wales has to offer.
Whether pitching a tent in one of the mini camping hamlets and cuddling up on a scatter cushion infront of the central fire pit, or bopping away to the smooth sounds of the bands and performers, it promises to be a music festival like no other.
Seven-piece funk outfit 6ix Toys will be bringing their particular blend of toe-tapping offerings which will have you dancing around in no time.
Like the love-children of James Brown who have been holidaying in Cuba with DJ Shadow playing on their iPod; expect a hefty dose of brass, a sprinkling of organ and a smooth topping of tasty guitar with a contemporary twist.
Joining them are hip-hop funkers The Mouse Outfit, North Wales' very own Chloe Leavers, and acoustic songstress Julia Harris.
Mellow beats and jazz-fuelled soundscapes will be delivered courtesy of Stuart McCallum and his band.
Known for his guitar work for The Cinematic Orchestra, his extensive solo career incorporates an original use of loops and effects which elegantly capture the whole emotive range.
But there is still much more to enjoy.
With Fredo, Matt Deficit, The Nice Sharp Pencils and many more acts confirmed, the Ymuno Festival looks set to become one of the most popular music events in North Wales.
