FORMER Culture Club singer, Boy George, will be spinning the decks at Llandudno nightspot, Broadway Boulevard.

The 80’s icon will be entertaining clubbers with a live house DJ set on Sunday, February 28. It will be a return to the town for the singer turned DJ, who appeared in concert at Venue Cymru in 2008.

He began his DJ career when he was just 17-years-old, but had to put his love for the club scene on the back burner due to the success of his band, Culture Club. The internationally successful group were formed in 1982, when Boy George teamed up with DJ Michael Craig and drummer Jon Moss.

As the popular band went from strength to strength, selling millions of records across the globe, Boy George never lost his enthusiasm for DJ’ing.

He has returned to the club scene in recent years and has been filling venues across the country such as God’s Kitchen, Cream, Gatecrasher. His range of new and exciting mixes have attracted club goers of all ages and tastes.
