FOUR people have been arrested in North Wales as part of a crackdown on child pornography in the region.
A series of warrants were executed in Anglesey, Flintshire and Denbighshire under the Protection of Children Act.
Two men from Deeside, Flintshire, aged 18 and 20, have been released on police bail pending further investigation of computer equipment.
Four separate raids were carried out yesterday resulting in a 17-year-old youth from Rhyl being charged with 11 counts of making indecent images of children.
A 23-year-old man from Menai Bridge was also arrested and released on bail.
Police have said the investigations are not linked.
Hi-tech crime investigator Mike Gallienne said: "This was part of a proactive investigation against people who access child abuse images on the internet.
"North Wales Police are committed to targeting anyone who indulges in this activity."
