FEARS have mounted for the safety of a missing Caernarfon man, who disappeared more than three weeks ago.
North Wales police have renewed their appeal to help trace the 43-year-old man, who has not been seen since Tuesday, December 29. Darren Hyde, who lived in the Caernarfon area, is described as being white, of slim build with grey hair and hazel coloured eyes. He has facial stubble and speaks with a Merseyside accent.
Sergeant Non Gibson from Caernarfon Police Station said the appeal had been launched to urge Mr Hyde to let officers know he is safe. He said: “Despite several lines of enquiry Mr Hyde has not been seen since the 29th December and we are concerned for his safety and welfare.
“We have since established that Mr Hyde has family connections on the Wirral, and we are appealing for anyone who may know of his whereabouts or anybody who knows him to come forward,” he added.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who may have seen Mr Hyde is asked to contact officers at Caernarfon Police Station on 101 if you are calling from Wales, or 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line) or 0845 607 1002 (English line).
