AN ELDERLY couple are recovering in hospital after a crash in Amlwch this morning. (Fri).
The man, who was involved in a single-vehicle collision on Lon Goch around 10.30am, was airlifted to Ysbyty Gwynedd after the incident.
An ambulance was also called to take the woman to hospital after she suffered minor injuries in the crash.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have been travelling along that particular stretch of road and who witnessed the collision, to contact officers at the Western Roads Policing Unit on 101, or 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line) or 0845 607 1002 (English line).
The road is closed at this time, but police say it should re-open shortly.
