A MAN has died after a collision on the A4085 between Rhyd-Ddu and Beddgelert.
At 3.50pm on Saturday (February 10) police were called to a two-vehicle collision on the A4085 involving a grey Ford Fiesta car and a Black Yamaha motorcycle.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the male rider of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the rider's next of kin and the coroner have been informed.
Sergeant Alun Jones, of the North Wales Police Roads Crime Unit, is appealed for witnesses to the incident.
Sgt Jones said: “Sadly this is now being investigated as a fatal road traffic collision and our thoughts are with the man’s family at this very difficult time.
“We are urging anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or anybody who may have been travelling or walking along the A4085 in the vicinity of Beddgelert and who may have dashcam footage, to contact us.
“The road remains closed to allow the Forensic Collision Investigation Unit to carry out their initial investigation and we’d like to thank everyone for their patience.”
