A PERSON was airlifted to a children's hospital following a crash between a cyclist and a car in Anglesey yesterday evening (August 9).
The collision occurred on the A4080 near Porth Trecastell at around 5.25pm.
Police and air ambulance services attended the incident, and the road was closed for more than two hours while emergency services dealt with the situation.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 5.24pm yesterday (Wednesday) to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a cyclist.
"Officers attended alongside Helimed. The road was closed until approximately 8pm."
An air ambulance conveyed a casualty to Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool.
