POLICE are renewing their appeal for witnesses and information following a fatal road traffic collision in Caernarfon on Friday night (June 2).

Officers are urging those who travelled along Ffordd Waunfawr between 10:30pm and 11:30pm to contact them and are particularly keen on speaking to anyone who may have dash cam footage.

19-year-old Joshua Lloyd Roberts was pronounced dead at the scene following a collision which was reported to North Wales Police shortly after 11pm.

Inspector Iwan Roberts of the Roads Policing Unit said: “Our profound condolences remain with Joshua’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

“Several lines of enquiry are already underway, and we’d like to thank all those who have already contacted us.

"However, we are urging anybody who can assist with our ongoing investigation – however relevant you think it may be, to contact us as soon as possible.”
