POLICE are appealing for help in the search for a 21-year-old Caernarfon man who has gone missing.
North Wales Police are asking for the public’s help to find Jonathon Edwards who has not been seen since leaving his home in Caernarfon, shortly after midnight on Sunday, March 19.
Enquiries to trace him have proved fruitless, despite efforts by Jonathon’s family and friends, police, coastguard and the RNLI who have been searching the Upper Bangor and Menai Bridge areas.
Inspector Llinos Davies of Caernarfon Police Station said: “Jonathon is approximately 5’11 in height, of slim build, with short brown hair, a brown beard, wearing glasses, a grey trench coat with a hood and blue or possibly back jeans.
“If anyone has sighted a person matching his description, or knows where Jonathon is, please contact North Wales Police as soon as possible as we are all increasingly concerned for his welfare.”
The police are particularly interested to speak to anyone who may have seen Jonathon or a person matching his description, in the area of the Antelope Public House or in Menai Bridge town between 1am and 3am on Sunday, March 19.
