A GWYNEDD village is united in support for a man who was seriously injured in a crash on the A55.
Cllr Sion Jones, who represents Bethel for Gwynedd Council, has known Gwion since their school days.
He said: “Everyone in Bethel is thinking about him and we hope he will be back on his feet playing football again as soon as possible.”
Gwion’s family are understood to be with him at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
Facebook users have posted messages of support on Gwion’s page.
Gwion, a left back and midfielder for Llanberis FC, came through the youth ranks with Llanberis and is in his second season in the senior side.
Manager Terry Saynor said: “He’s a good lad and a real team player.
North Wales Police are investigating the incident, and anyone with information should call the Roads Policing Unit on 101.
