Police renew appeal after man grabbed Bangor schoolgirl's wrist

POLICE have issued an e-fit in their hunt for a man who grabbed a teenage girl's wrist as she walked to school in Bangor.

The girl was walking to Ysgol Tryfan along Lon Ogwen at 8.30pm on Friday, July 18 when the man approached her from behind and grabbed her wrist.

She broke free and ran home, where she raised the alarm.

The man is described as white, aged around 50, scruffy with thick grey/white facial stubble.

He was wearing a black thigh length jacket, a black hood pulled up and dark green jeans.

The man was said to smell of alcohol and spoke with a local accent.

   Police believe that residents or people travelling by vehicle in the area that morning might recognise the man.
