Staff reporter (NW Chronicle)

A TEENAGE boy admitted starting a fire which caused £111,000 damage at a Bangor primary school.

The boy, aged 14, was accused of arson at Our Lady Immaculate RC School on Caernarfon Road last February.

Previously Caernarfon youth court heard the boy had indicated to a teacher that he was involved in the fire, and that he and another youngster had petrol, but when cautioned by police he denied any part in the alleged arson.

The boy was granted bail until sentencing on September 5
