POLICE are concerns about the whereabouts of a man who has been missing for several days.

Ricky Grundy, aged 29, of Birkenhead, but who has links to the Bangor area, was last seen at Hamilton Square railway station at 6.30pm on Thursday, June 5.

A spokesman for Merseyside Police said: “Ricky's disappearance is out of character as he has never been reported missing before.

“His family in Wirral and North Wales are becoming increasingly concerned for him and police are appealing for anyone who has seen him to get in touch.”

Police believe Mr Grundy withdrew cash before boarding a train heading to West Kirby.

Colleagues reported him as missing after he failed to turn up for work at a local pub.

Mr Grundy is white, around 5 ft 8 ins tall, of medium build, with short, cropped mousey brown-coloured hair.

He was last seen wearing a polo t-shirt with red, white and blue horizontal stripes.
Mr Grundy is also known to have links with the Wirral.

Anyone with information should telephone Merseyside Police on 101, or 0151 709 6010 if outside the area.

Alternatively, telephone the Missing People charity on 116 000.
