A FORMER manor house and school in Bangor is set to go under the hammer.
Treborth Hall, which served as Ysgol Coed Menai for more than 60 years, is to be auctioned after closing its doors nearly two years ago.
Gwynedd Council closed the school in August 2012 and replaced it with a specialised unit in September that year.
The property is due to be auctioned by Pugh and Co at the Etihad Stadium on Thursday, June 12.
It will have a guide price of £250,000-£300,000.
Paul Thompson, director and auctioneer at Pugh and Co, said: “Clearly this is a very interesting opportunity for someone as these types of properties don’t come along too often and I’m sure potential buyers will recognise that this could be chance.”
