Man appears in court in connection with Bangor pub blaze

A MAN has appeared in court in connection with a fire that ravaged a Bangor pub.

Mark Parry, of Llanrug, appeared in Caernarfon magistrates court today (Tuesday, April 1) charged with two counts of arson with intent to endanger life after a fire at the Three Crowns pub in Bangor on Sunday.

Six people were injured in the fire with one,  Coleg Menai lecturer Jason Robertshaw, suffering serious burns and smoke inhalation.

Parry was bailed to appear before Caernarfon crown court on Monday, April 7.
