Al Murray set for Venue Cymru

Geraint Jones

ONE of the UK’s best loved comedians is set to return to North Wales.

Al Murray, The Pub Landlord, will serve up his beer-fuelled blend of brutal wit and ear-splitting volume at Venue Cymru in Llandudno next spring.

The newly announced show is part of his extended The Only Way Is Epic tour, which has
taken The Pub Landlord everywhere from Glasgow to the Isle of Wight.

The Guvnor has added another 54 dates to his schedule due to high demand, bringing the tour to a whopping 105 locations accross the UK.

The Pub Landlord has had a busy year, with 21 dates already sold out for his new
tour on top of a sell-out Edinburgh Festival show in the summer.

Al Murray is probably best known for his alter-ego The Pub Landlord, with a host of TV
appearances including Live At The Apollo and his own show, Al Murray’s Happy Hour.

Out of character, though, Al has also worked on everything from documentaries like Al
Murray's German Adventure to comedy panel shows like Have I Got News For You.

The Pub Landlord will be at Venue Cymru on Friday, March 8, 2013.

Tickets are available from the Venue Cymru box office, or online at
at £25.50.
