ONE of the UK's most famous drag queens has been enjoying a well-earned break in North Wales.

The Vivienne - real name James Lee Williams - stayed at Glan Morfa Lodge holiday cottages in Anglesey with husband David Paul Ludford and their dog Panda.

It was a homecoming of sorts, as James was brought up in North Wales and attended Rydal Penrhos School in Colwyn Bay.

On Instagram, the couple, who now live in Chester, posted: "Never want to leave!"

When they arrived they shared a video of the cottage, saying: "Couple days at away at the stunning @glan_morfa_lodge holiday cottages on Anglesey! Absolutely breathtaking! And dog friendly for Panda!!!

"Can’t wait to get in the hot tub."

The Vivienne was announced as the winner of the first series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK in 2019.

Although being the epitome of Scouse humour, the veteran performer confessed in the first episode that he was actually brought up in North Wales.

James is originally from Colwyn Bay and attended Rydal Penrhos School before moving to Liverpool as a teenager.

Last year, James and husband David announced they were buying their first home together in Chester.
