Unexploded bomb found on beach near Abersoch

A 100-metre section of a beach near Llanengan, near Abersoch, has been cordoned off after the discovery of an unexploded bomb.

The device which was found by a passer by is to be detonated by explosive specialists from the MOD later on Monday.

North Wales Police and the coastguard remain in the area and are advising people to avoid the beach in the meantime.
