SPOOKY effects, tricks, music, comedy and a feel good story are all a part of an exciting puppet for kids show touring North Wales.

The Festival of the Dead, Dygwyl y Meirw, will bring a tingle to your spine in a 45 minute drama for puppets, actors and shadow theatre.

The show explores the traditions of the Celtic festival of the dead and tours North Wales from October 28 - November 17.

The tale features folk tale characters the Black Sow, The White Lady and Jack of the Lantern. It follows a little girl coming to terms with the loss of her Taid but ends with a message of joy.

Although it is in Welsh, non speakers will also enjoy the show. Non-Welsh speaking children can follow the visual storytelling, and there’s a precis sheet in English for parents.
