AUDIENCES across the UK are getting into the spirit of Rich Hall's new show, so much so they are now turning up at venues in full cowboy regalia complete with ten gallon-hats and boots.

American comedian Rich Hall brings his highly popular Hoedown, 2018 Tour to Pontio's Theatre Bryn Terfel, in Bangor, on Thursday, October 18.

Described by promoters as an "electrifying show," it culminates in an infectious celebration of Americana and a hilarious, foot-stomping hoedown which has caught fire up and down the country.

Scotland on Sunday has described it as "As close as it gets to a guaranteed good show,” the Guardian rates it “blissfully funny” and the Mail on Sunday says it is “One hour of stonking stand-up and another of stomping hoedown mayhem. That’s two top gigs in one” ****

Rich Hall and his Hoedown band has extended the tour into autumn, 2018 and tickets for an extra 49 dates are now on sale. Hall’s grouchy, deadpan style has established him as a master of absurdist irony and the king of rapid-fire wit. In the show, Hall dismantles the tenuous relationship between the UK and America.

There is also a withering dissection of Trump’s America, and all its twists and turns.

There’s stand-up, improvised ballads, musicianship, and ultimately a hilarious, foot-stomping good time to be had by all.

Even if you don’t own a hoe.
