THE INAUGURAL Bangor Food Festival proved to be a "huge success" according to the organisers as thousands of people paid a visit to the High Street.
On Sunday, some of the finest producers from north Wales and beyond set up stalls in the city to take part in the highly-anticipated event.
From pizzas and fry-up’s to delicious deserts and assortment of alcohol, there was something for everyone at the festival.
Organisers say the positive responses to the event means they are planning to host another one next year.
Emyr Owen, who runs the weekly market in Bangor, says he wanted to set-up the food festival as it was something that other areas had been doing for some time.
“I had a few people asking me to set one up and I thought ‘why not?’,” he said.
“I’ve had several messages of support and praise following the food festival and I’m very proud of how it went.
“It was a huge success and it went better than I expected if I’m honest and I hope we can do it all again next year.”
