ANGLESEY CIRCUIT will play host to the final rounds of many sprint championships next weekend.

On Saturday, October 6, the climax to the MSA British sprint season will return to where it all started some months ago.

This annual showdown is organised by the Longton and District Motor Club and as well as competitors from their own club's Northern Speed Championship, and the Sprint Series, there are entries from

Liverpool Motor Club, the Lotus 7 Speed Series and many more.

This year also sees competitors from the TVR Club Championship and the SD34Group joining in

with the fun.

The Top Twelve run-offs for final points in the MSA British Sprint Championship will run on both Saturday and Sunday and are sure to be hotly contested.

The championship leader, Heather Calder, and her father Colin Calder who is the reigning champion, who is placed second are untouchable with their points lead over their nearest rival.

At the time of writing, entries had not been received from the Calders, so the spotlight will be firmly focused on those jostling for the third step of the podium.

Only nine points separate Terry Holmes, John Graham, Stewart Robb and Steve Broughton but there are a few others in with an outside chance too.

As well as being able to spectate from the excellent vantage points around the most scenic circuit in the UK, spectators are encouraged to get up close close to the cars and meet the competitors in the paddock.
