NORTH Wales Police are investigating after thieves broke into a camping site shop, bar and office area in the Llanfwrog area recently.
Sometime between 1am and 6am on Saturday August 18, thieves broke into the Sandy Beach Caravan Site shop.
They did so via the main front door and stole numerous tobacco products as well as a cash box containing large amount of cash.
Thieves also entered the nearby adjoining bar area and offices whereby the CCTV recorders were taken.
Investigating officer PC Martin Jones at Holyhead Police Station said: "I am keen to receive any information from anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour or activity in the area at the time of the break-in.
"The disruption caused to the business was extensive. This is a shameful act of criminality which can have a detrimental effect on not only the business owners themselves but the community as a whole.
"I’m asking local businesses and communities to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately. It is also worth reminding the community to ensure their property is always locked and secured or kept out of sight."
