THE 750 Motor Club visit Anglesey Circuit this weekend for a one day race meeting featuring just two race classes.

On Saturday, the RGB Sports 1000 Championship will have two races and the Club Enduro Championship will have one three hour race.

The CartekClub Enduro Championship will run its sixth event of the season, where more than 30 teams will take to the Coastal Circuit for a three-hour race.

It is the Class C pairing of privateers Steve Hewson and Matt Nossiter who currently top the points table in their subtle but effective E36 BMW 328i Coupe, for whom not even a power steering failure on the way to the assembly area at Silverstone last month could prevent them taking the fourth victory of the season.

Class B’s Matt Faizey has driven all the races solo to-date in his Porsche 968 and lies second in the overall standings, just a few points adrift after finishing off the podium for the first time at Spa

Francorchamps back in July.

Class A has seen four different winners so far this season, most recently with Luke Sedzikowski taking his E92 BMW M3 to an inaugural victory at Silverstone last month.

Martin James dominated the vast majority of the June outing at Rockingham in the Area Motorsport Civic Type-R until driveshaft failure forced a crushing retirement in the closing stages, whilst a loose splitter thwarted his victory chances at Silverstone, meaning that a Club Enduro victory has still alluded the multiple 750MC race winner since the formula’s introduction in 2016.

Spire Sportscars driver Billy Albone might still retain his lead at the top of the Endurance Financial RGB Sports 1000 Championship, but it was all about team Mittell Cars at Silverstone last month.

After the father and son managed constructor took their first ever 1-2-3 finish in the opener thanks to Paul Smith, Chippy Wesemael and Dan Larner, Wesemael went on to take his first car racing win in the second outing.
