Police found a cannabis farm while investigating the cause of a major fire in Caernarfon.
The fire took place at the Get Connected phone shop on Monday morning and is believed to have started in the basement, where the electrical supply was based.
Whilst visiting the scene after the blaze, police have discovered a cannabis farm located in a privately-rented flat above the shop.
The force has described the discovery as "a large cannabis cultivation operation".
A spokesperson for NWP said: "Following a joint investigation yesterday at Pool Street Caernarfon by North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Police, we can confirm that we are aware of a large cannabis cultivation in residential flats in the location."
The fire itself caused major damage to Get Connected and its neighbouring properties on Pool Street - including flats and a Turkish barber shop.
A manager at the phone shop had raised the alarm and the blaze needed seven fire crews on the scene to help tackle it.
