A HOST of workshops are being held in Holyhead over the summer holidays.
At the Ucheldre Centre, from Monday, August 13, until Friday, August 17, there are art workshops with Jacquie Myrtle, from 10am -12 noon (for five to seven years olds) and from 1pm-3pm (seven years plus). Cost is £3 per child per session. Booking is advisable. From Monday, August 20, until Friday, August 24, there is a scrap metal workshops with Graham Jenkinson. From Monday to Wednesday, 10am-4pm, workshops are being held for adults, and teens 15 years plus. It is a chance to use grinders and welding equipment to make sculpture. On the Thursday and Friday, kids can learn how to turn an assortment of scrap into sculpture. From 10am -12 noon sessions are for five to seven year olds and 1-3pm (seven plus.) From Monday, August 27, until Friday, August 31, 10.30pm to 4pm, there is a PROPS drama workshop for kids aged seven plus, followed by a show.
