FIREFIGHTERS were called to attend the scene of yet another gorse fire which had ignited in Holyhead this morning.
A call was received at 10.38 and personnel tended to the blaze, which occurred near Plas Road.
The incident one of just several that the fire service has encountered in the same area over the past two weeks.
The fire is believed to have covered around 400sq m of grassland and firefighters are still at the scene damping down the hotspots.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue service spokesperson said: "There are currently two four by four vehicles still at the scene in Holyhead.
"We are reminding all members of the public to take care in this warm weather as fires are becoming a regular occurrence.
"Incidents like this one today tie up a lot of our resources."
It is not yet known whether or not the fire was deliberately started.
