A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a car and a lorry on an A55 slip-road.
North Wales Police were called to the scene of a crash involving a Peugeot and a lorry on the A55 travelling eastbound between J1 and J2, near Holyhead, at 12.07pm today.
A person in the Peugeot involved in the crash has been taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd with minor injuries.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "A collision between a car and a lorry took place around 12.07pm today.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson added: “We were called today (Thursday) at approximately 12.05pm to reports of road traffic collision near junction 1 of the A55 in Holyhead.
"We responded with two rapid response vehicles and one emergency ambulance, where a female patient was taken to Gwynedd Hospital, Bangor.”
