DJ, producer, collaborator and bastion of the underground Andrew Weatherall is among the latest names announced for this year's Festival No.6.
He will appear on his own stage, Andrew Weatherall’s Psychedelic Faber Social, at Portmeirion.
Turner-prize winner Jeremy Deller, Jon Savage, Welsh glam wrestler Adrian Street, Richard Milward, Michael Cumming, Rob Young, Michael Peterson and Finitribe are also on the bill for this year's event, which runs from September 6-9.
To mark 100 years of women's suffrage, Helen Pankhurst – great-granddaughter of Emmeline Pankhurst and granddaughter of Sylvia Pankhurst, both giants of the Suffragette movement – will be speaking at the Central Piazza about her new book, Deeds Not Words, while Dr Scilla Ellworthy will talk about women and world peace.
Journalist and novelist Carole Cadwalladr, who broke the recent Cambridge Analytica/Facebook story, also joins the Central Piazza line-up.
